Ugh! Primitive!

The longitudinal and transverse sections of a form are laid out on display in this print, dividing the substrate into four parts. The form's textures are rich and colours are a subdued red and green. The title suggests that an analysis has been made and a conclusion has been drawn. At the same time, the print challenges the dismissive attitudes to primitivism positioning it as something that is on par with other accepted cultural forms and therefore worthy of consideration.
