"Oh Civilization III" is a textured print with a colour palette of red, green and black. The work leans towards symbolism and abstraction with the only figure forms being the African masks and a row of arrows in the upper section of the work. This piece can be seen as Gall's critique of modern myths and concern with the loss of indigenous culture and heritage within globalization and industrialization. The arrows further emphasize this departure from traditions and loss of culture, creating a duality between "civilisation" and its "opposite".
