Barbados National Art Gallery Giveback Volunteers

The Barbados National Art Gallery is committed to building, maintaining and exhibiting a collection of art that documents the historical development of contemporary art during the 20th century, to carefully identifying the best examples of pioneer and modern artists; and to actively acquiring and presenting contemporary work, to ensure that the most important examples are in the national collection and to play an active role in stimulating and encouraging a dynamic contemporary art culture.

To that end, the BNAG is continuously updating its collections archive, and engages volunteers on a range of projects related to independent research on artists.
